MEDICAL DIRECTOR, SURGEON
Dr. Kelsey Stocks grew up in the great-ish state of Illinois where she learned midwestern charm and all things corn.
She went to undergrad and veterinary school at the University of Illinois where she was awarded the “shelter medicine student of the year” in 2017.
Excellent mentorship propelled her forward, where she accepted a job servicing veterinary deserts in NYC through the community practice sector of the ASPCA. She was able to recognize the desperate need for basic veterinary services and felt passionate about providing them.
In 2018, she moved to Colorado where her work transitioned from urban to extremely rural, focusing on providing veterinary care to Native peoples on reservations. Dr. Stocks has performed tens of thousands of spay/neuter surgeries, making an incredible impact on animal overpopulation.
When she isn't in surgery, she’s likely obsessing over her two cats (her absolute world) or hanging out with her cat-like dog.
